A Pittsburgh native and a 1993 Architectural Engineering graduate from Penn State University, Scott began his career in residential real estate marketing, selling and building new homes with one of the nation’s largest home building companies. After 6 successful years, he started his own custom home building company helping his buyers to design, build and finance their dream homes. He built in many of the custom home communities throughout Pittsburgh including Nevillewood and Treesdale. He went on to be the Chief Operating Officer of Heartland Homes. In 2000, he began building a business that went from 12 million in sales on 50 closings to 150 million in sales on 400+ closings in 2012. Despite the most difficult conditions the home building industry has ever seen, the company grew through diversification every year. As a result of these successes, the business was sold to NVR in December 2012.
Scott left NVR in March 2013 to create another successful custom home building company – Infinity Custom Homes. His in-depth experience in both leadership and real estate stem from his management of these companies for the past 20 years. Scott currently resides in his Infinity Home in Marshall Twp.
