Featured Employee: Meet Michelle!

From holidays and milestones to backyard get-togethers and cozy evenings, your home is the setting for the best scenes of your life. It’s your base, your sanctuary, and your greatest source of comfort. That’s why we believe your living space should reflect you inside and out.

In our state-of-the-art Inspirations Design Gallery, filled with all of the high-end choices you deserve, our team will help you design the look and feel of your home. This week, we want to introduce you to the person who keeps our gallery running smoothly every day, so you can turn your dream home into a reality. Say hello to Michelle, our incredible design gallery manager!

What’s your relationship with Infinity Custom Homes? What do you love most about working here?

I joined the Infinity Custom Homes family in December of 2015 and I’m currently the design gallery manager. As the design gallery manager, I oversee the selection coordinator team and the Inspirations Design Gallery. Not only do I love my job, but the people I work with too. My job is unique and challenging but I know I have a team that appreciates, supports, and encourages me along the way. Infinity Custom Homes is a family that cares about every homeowner, vendor, and employee. It’s truly an amazing place to work and I am blessed to be part of this family!

Where did you grow up? Tell us about your family!

I was born and raised a Pittsburgh girl. I grew up in McCandless and graduated from North Allegheny. After attending PSU and moving to Cleveland for a job, I returned home when I got engaged to my husband, Doug. Doug and I were always friends in high school (we went to senior prom together)! We started dating years later and got engaged after graduating college.

Doug is a teacher and football coach at North Allegheny. We have two daughters, Mia (13) and Ella (9), who keep us busy. We all share a love of sports and the girls and I love attending Friday night football games in the fall at NA. We are blessed to have so many family members and friends surrounding us.

How do you spend your free time? What do you do to relax?

As a type A personality, it’s hard for me to let go and relax. I try to meditate daily, love to work out, or participate in any competitive activity. It’s always fun spending time with friends and family; there’s nothing better than an evening of good belly laughs or sitting around a campfire. I also enjoy getting creative in the kitchen, where I don’t follow recipes and come up with some great concoctions! (I just don’t enjoy washing the dishes, if only I had a cleanup crew!)

What do you wish other people knew about Infinity Custom Homes?

Building a custom home can be overwhelming, but at Infinity, we have curated a selection process for our customers that is unique and fun. Once a customer signs a contract, they are part of our ICH family. They then get paired up with a selection coordinator that personally guides them through the entire selection process. The Inspirations Design Gallery is a one-stop shop with everything they need to make their home beautiful, where the selection coordinator listens to their ideas and brings them to life, creating the home they’ve always dreamed of, within their budget.

We are also able to hold selection appointments virtually and in person to fit anyone’s busy schedule. If you haven’t been to our model to visit the Inspirations Design Gallery, come check it out to see how we can help you achieve your unique design vision!

What would someone be surprised to know about you?

As I mentioned, I am a detail-oriented, type A personality, so those that know me know I thrive on a good process and love a good spreadsheet! My husband will say I am all in or get all out… there’s no halfway! So of course when I take risks, I go big, whether I’m jumping out of an airplane or flying over the Grand Canyon in a helicopter.

Tell us about someone you admire.

I admire many people who have helped shape who I am today. However, if I have to pick just one, it would be my sister. Growing up we fought over friends, clothing, or just about anything (the typical sibling stuff). However, as an adult, she has become my best friend. She has taught me to be stronger than I think I can be. To love deeper, to forgive, to work hard and never give up.

She has the biggest heart and will do anything for anyone. She is the first one to show up without asking for help, she just knows when you need it. She really has taught me to be a better version of myself. Having a sibling is a gift, but having one you can admire and be best friends with is a blessing! I guess our parents raised us right, so thanks to our parents for fostering the importance of family.

All of us at Infinity Custom Homes want to thank Michelle for all that she does! We’re so grateful for her hard work and positive energy every day. For more information about our beautiful homes and communities throughout Pittsburgh, or to schedule a private showing or video appointment, please contact us at 888-424-9424. We can’t wait to get started!
